In January of 2013 after discovering a lump, Robin was diagnosed with Stage I Invasive (breast cancer).  Her treatment consisted of a lumpectomy, 4 rounds of chemotherapy and 33 treatments of radiation. Kingdom Heart Ministries was born during this season in her life. To celebrate the end of chemotherapy, the ministry held the first annual PRAISE-ABRATION in August of 2013.  They were able to donate over $2000 to St Jude Children Research hospital.  Since that time the ministry has raised and donated thousands of dollars to St Jude Hospital and women going through the “storm” of breast cancer in need of assistance. The ministry also enjoys a monthly fellowship with Regency Health Care Center. The aim and goal of the ministry is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through preaching, teaching, singing, and service, doing the work of the church outside the four walls.

Having many favorite scriptures, Isaiah 58:8 has become one of great comfort ……Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rear guard.
